The Quality of Life Survey comes to Wintringham

Urban&Civic is committed to listening to and working with residents to ensure the best possible development for everyone living at its developments.

As part of a long-term commitment to support positive health and wellbeing among residents at Wintringham, Urban&Civic is working with the Quality of Life Foundation. As part of our sustainability framework, we take regular surveys to assess the quality of life of residents. This helps us evolve the design and layout of the development, as well as the amenities and activities coming forward, in response to feedback received.

The Quality of Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation set up to raise people’s quality of life by making wellbeing central to the way we create and care for our homes and communities. Its mission is to create change in the way the housing industry acquires, plans, builds and manages new homes and communities to improve people’s quality of life.

The team from the Quality of Life Foundation spent the summer speaking to residents and encouraging them to complete the survey about what it is like to live in Wintringham. For every survey completed, Urban&Civic donated to a local charity.

The survey focused on a different aspect of living in Wintringham to help understand the impact of these on residents’ perception, wellbeing and engagement with the local area and their home. Feedback is currently being analysed and will help inform next year’s plans and initiatives to further improve the quality of life for those living in Wintringham. Wintringham will then be resurveyed in 2 years time.
