Lockdown Laptops: Donated devices help pupils learn from home

11.01.22

Working with our housebuilder customers Lodge Park, Jelson Homes and Francis Jackson Homes at Priors Hall, Urban&Civic ‘s team helped to fund and source 42 laptops to give the laptops to Corby Business Academy to support home learning.

The school distributed the devices to those who need them most, to help children with their online lessons while the school was closed due to lockdown. The benefit carried once the school responded by giving these students who would not have had a device at home equal access to technology required for homework and to prepare for exams.

These laptops will support the academy to deliver a curriculum that suits the pathways of our students, with increased opportunities for IT based access for coursework, assignments and lesson delivery. We are all immensely appreciative. Thank you to all those who have helped our families in these difficult times.”
